Our hybridization and strain development process involves directing the brewing yeast through their idle sexual cycle via fungal sporulation utilizing natural breeding techniques including, but not limited to, sporulation, direct-mating, rare-mating, directed evolution, screening and fusion. 

The unique strains created during the hybridization process are part of our Imperialis product collection.

Our Imperialis (I-Series) collection includes yeast strains developed by Imperial Yeast, which have been honed to exhibit the desired traits that create practical fermentation solutions for brewers.
